A New Day is Dawning

Beginning in 2007, daylight saving time will be extended in the United States. DST will start on March 11, 2007, which is three weeks earlier than usual, and it will end on November 4, 2007, which is one week later than usual.
Since your computers will not realize there has been a change, it will still be set for the original date of April 2nd. In order to change the time on your computer click on the help link below for instructions from microsoft. HELP

Wendy

Did you know?

Coca-cola's first slogan was from 1886 and was simply "Drink Coca-cola"

In 1910 it was "Quenches Thirst as Nothing Else Can"

Some of us may remember 1942's slogan that was "Refreshment That Can't Be Duplicated"

Then of course in 1963 The Kingston trio sang the jingle "Things go better with Coke"

However probably one of the most famous Coke slogans was in 1971 when the whole world heard "I'd Like to Buy the World a Coke "

No matter how or when it was said, Coke has been refreshing us for a long time and these old signs are reminiscent of Cokes past.

Spring

A refreshing-reviving-calming color
We know there are utterly thousands of shades of blue, however the color of the ocean, the sky on a misty morning or a sweet little robins egg remind me most of the colors of spring.

Who is this and why is he smoking a pipe?

You will have to come in to find out!

Indoors or Outdoors?

Sometimes we find some great little pieces of furniture that are so multi -purpose we can't decide where to use them. With that in mind take a look at this adorable glass front cabinet that has so many uses.
As a storage cabinet in the bath to hold towels, soaps, salts, and maybe a few of your husbands things.
What about in the kitchen, boy I could fill this up with collectibles, or as a mini pantry.
Don't forget the sun porch, shall I go on?
Natalie always has some of the neatest accessories. I like to call them bowl fillers. Come in and check whats new, these little goodies never last long.
This is another neat little cabinet that can sit on a table or hang on a wall. It would be great as a garden tool cabinet. Now is the time to build that little greenhouse you've been dreaming about.

A time to refresh and renew

It's never to early to get those birdhouses ready, spring is right around the corner. Remember to keep them up high and out of danger! Here is a great birdhouse that will last you for years to come and for all those birds planning a large family.

This old dry sink would make a great planting table, add a galvinized tub to hold dirt, you'll have lots of storage underneath for pots, garden tools and reference books.

Lots of wonderful old lamps, prints, paintings and accesories for your home.

Who could pass up this adorable painted table and chairs ~ how cute for a sun porch or patio

So much storage in this great vintage/primitive cupboard, which would work great in an office or bedroom.

Welcome Back

The days of spring are here.
Warm, sunny days are near.
Birds in trees, flowers and bees,
The days of spring are here.

Business at Ms. Wendy's is slowly getting back to normal. After the loss of our wonderful Sandra. It was hard to get back into the swing of things, however knowing Sandra, she would not have wanted us to continue to morn her loss but get back to the business at hand and in her words "get back to work"!

This past Tuesday we had a work day and everyone was sprucing, updating and filling their spaces with new (old) treasures, so come see what's new.
