It's hard to believe, but it is almost that time again when we get out our old worn quilts to air out getting ready for the colder weather to come. I collected all of the old quilts throughout the store today and layered them in this great old cabinet. Some quilts are worn beyond repair, some would look beautiful just draped over the end of a bed or cozy chair. However you use them, they will remind you of a simpler time when the only fast pace was getting your chores done before sunset.

One thing I really like about doing the blog for Ms. Wendy's is that Wendy herself can see all the weird things I did before she actually comes into the store and is shocked for the first time.
What I am talking about is I hung two old french doors in between the front and center room which not only give it an old home appeal, but also makes a distinction between the two rooms. These are not quite high enough to meet the door jam at top and bottom, however if you have a space in your home where you would like to define the space a little more, they may work for you. They are also hanging from their original hinges so they can be opened or closed.
