Happy first day of Spring!

I went to Wendy's on Monday to get some new pictures for the blog and then she sent me more today. I am so glad she did because you would have missed all the new pieces that are coming in like this absolutely beautiful Victorian wicker porch swing.

Her newest dealers are just moving in this week and from the looks of it, they will be offering some very unique vintage pieces that fit so well with the rest of the store. I can't wait to get down there a take a look myself.

The town of Brooks may be small, but the trip to Ms. Wendy's is always worth the drive.

Nice distressed spindle back stool

Cute 4 drawer chest in Red and White
This is an awesome step back ~ I just love the color
What could be more beautiful then last years dried blooms?

This table is a little hard to see, however it would be great as a planting table. Hooks below hold your garden tools and lots of storage for pots on bottom shelf.

Lots of outdoor and porch decor
Pair of yellow wicker chairs ~ just add a colorful pillow

More wicker, this time a white rocker
This cute little table would look great in a foyer
Neat old white cabinet filled with precious old ironstone

Wow, the possibilities are endless for the use of this old blue ladder.

Dark apple green wicker love-seat ~ beautiful against a white back drop

Decor for the walls

Something for the guys

Nice antique white iron bed
Awesome Yo-Yo Coverlet

Great old Stove
Twin Iron Bed, Old wash basin and great garden decor
How cute is this little red chair.
Great black distressed coffee table
These old pieces are getting harder to find especially in good condition like this great old metal porch swing.
Leave it like it is or paint it to match your home.

Hope to see you soon!

I have taken on an incredible challenge. On Oct 24,25 & 26, I'll be walking 60 miles over the course of three days, camping out at night with thousands of other women and men taking this journey with me. It's for an event called the Breast Cancer 3-Day, which benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

Every advancement in breast cancer research, treatment, education and prevention in the last 25 years has been touched by a Komen for the Cure grant. They are working hard to build a future without breast cancer, and I plan on raising $2200 to help bring us closer to that goal.

Please consider making a donation of as much as you can afford(no amount is too little or to big). If you can't give this amount all at once, you can spread it out over four months, using the payment plan option, if you donate online at http:///www.The3Day.org.

Please also ask your employer if they will double your donation with a matching gift. Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer.I have wanted to do this for so long, and now that I have lost an amazing 85 lbs. I am able to accomplish my goal.

We have formed a team called "YES MAMMS" to go on this adventure together and we are very excited!! One of our teammates "Is A True Survivor", due to early detection she has overcome this deadly disease, we together want to help make that possible for countless other mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and any other love ones.

Without a cure, one in eight women in the U.S. will continue to be diagnosed with breast cancer. That's why I'm walking in the 3-Day. Because everyone deserves a lifetime.Just follow the link below to visit my personal fundraising web page and make a donation. If you don't want to donate online, please download and print a donation form and mail it to the address on the form. Or you can call 800.996.3DAY to donate over the phone.

I would like to reach my fundraising goal by June 2008, so that I can concentrate on training for the big event.Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for your support.

Training faithfully,
