Welcome Southern Living Idea Home

Jamie McPherson of Hearth and Home Interiors, Inc. was asked by Southern Living to be the interior designer for the 2010 Southern Living Idea Home in Senoia, Ga.  We were very honored when we were asked by Jamie to loan some of our items to add to the decor of the home.  Jamie's work is simply stunning - the perfect mix of modern and nostalgia, refined and relaxed.  You will not want to miss touring this beautiful example of southern construction and design.

An amazing vintage birdcage! Even the feeders are made of glass. We were excited to get one of this quality in superb condition. Even if you do not own feathered friends, today's decorating magazines feature vignettes with birdcages showcasing everything from seashells to candles and florals.

Stunning Bradley and Hubbard oil lamp - ours has been converted to modern day electric. Oil lamps of this type date back to 1897. The emerald shade is even more beautiful when illuminated.
